Post Jam Update #2!
There has been a lot of work on the backend of things to organize and clean up how things run. I'd like it to be more modular for future purposes. Let's see... what's new?!?!
Multiple Artifacts are complete. Some take effect by just having them, but some are able to be activated and cause various effects.
More floor types are in the game now, to include ceiling tiles!
Many Weapons, Shields, Spells and Potions are almost complete. I've still got a bit of drawing to do, but I'm hoping to be done with them soon. The special keys that didn't make it into the Jam Submission are now present.
Along side of that, the menu lets you equip and activate things! It's pretty simple, but it works. (it also gives me ideas for a follow up later...)
I'm still learning lessons here, and another big one is that I've made the first map WAY TO BIG! I'll eventually slice things up into smaller maps to reduce the CPU load the game is putting on the player's computer. (far too much for my liking...)
